We got this bottle of French dessert wine from the airport a few weeks ago and opened it for dinner tonight. While J loves red wine, I prefer mine sweet and chilled. Wolf Blass Yellow Label Moscato is one of my favourites and I have to say this bottle of Barton & Guestier is pretty good too!

Sauternes
We got this bottle of French dessert wine from the airport a few weeks ago and opened it for dinner tonight. While J loves red wine, I prefer mine sweet and chilled. Wolf Blass Yellow Label Moscato is one of my favourites and I have to say this bottle of Barton & Guestier is pretty good too!

Negociant Sauternes like this can be a bit of a gamble but when from a great vintage like 2007 it is likely to be great value. Fortunately there have been a number of good vintages recently and 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008 and the sensational 2009 are all likely to please.
